Canon Powershot A2000 IS ... bought my Canon Powershot A2000 IS in January of this year, as I wanted a decent quality digital camera before my trip to Rome in February. Canon is a name synonymous with quality when it comes to cameras, and the A2000 doesn t disappoint! Cons Firstly let s get the negatives out the way. I ve heard several grumbles that the A2000 isn t the best looking digital camera, and I have to agree. It has a fairly dull grey and dark blue colour scheme and has a more plastic feel than other Canon models (the IXUS range for example). Also, some people will also always complain that it s inconvenient that the camera takes 2 x AA batteries rather than a rechargeable Li-ion bat... The 2.5" screen is retained, as is the optical viewfinder and the 3x zoom capability, but the Ixus 100 IS is packed with new features. Video can now be recorded in HD (720p format) and an HDMI port has been added for viewing your pics on the latest HD televisions. Canon Digital Ixus 60 ... camera is one of the best available in the markets. The speed at which pictures can be taken is incredible. Those nights out when you want to quickly take pictures. Turn it on, hold down take photo button and less than a second later you have your picture. The screen to view pictures easily gets scratched but this has not effected the screen greatly and everything can still be seen clearly even with the scratches. The memory slot allows different memory cards to be placed into the camera making the user decide how many photos they can take.
