The 2.5" screen is retained, as is the optical viewfinder and the 3x zoom capability, but the Ixus 100 IS is packed with new features. Video can now be recorded in HD (720p format) and an HDMI port has been added for viewing your pics on the latest HD televisions. The 100 IS also gets a new DIGIC 4 processor, Autofocus Tracking and Auto Scene Detection! Canon Digital Ixus 60 ... camera is one of the best available in the markets. The speed at which pictures can be taken is incredible. Those nights out when you want to quickly take pictures. Turn it on, hold down take photo button and less than a second later you have your picture. The screen to view pictures easily gets scratched but this has not effected the screen greatly and everything can still be seen clearly even with the scratches. The memory slot allows different memory cards to be placed into the camera making the user decide how many photos they can take. Canon Digital Ixus 100 IS ... present bought for my 21st birthday a few months ago. The quality of the pictures is fantastic and the video facility is also excellent. The screen is bright and clear enabling you to view both photos and videos with a great degree of clarity. The product has been easy to use, and is definitely visually attractive, although the buttons at times seem on the small side. The face recognition technology enables the camera to detect faces and improve the clarity of them even further. Additionally, the clarity of the picture is never compomised by the zoom function, although perhaps a larger zoom function would have been possible given the cost of the camera. Despite the ...
