I found this camera to be excellent, I have mainly used it while travelling and it is small and light enough to carry around in a pocket. At 10.1 megapixels, the photos come out at a good resolution, although when zoomed right in they can be a bit grainy. There is a range of different modes, under the casio 'Best Shot' menu, which are great and can really make a difference to your photos, i.e. the sunset mode filters out certain lights and you end up with lovely colours in the photo. In addition to photos, the camera can record video clips with sound, which are not of the best quality but can still make for some fun videos. The camera also looks quite nice, mine is red and it comes in a range of other colours too. Overall, I would recommend this camera for anyone looking for something not too technical, easy to use and small enough to carry around.
I bought this camera because I was fed up with our Cannon one which is a much bigger one in size and it was too difficult to carry it around. This one I can just put in my handbag and it`s ready to use any time. It is very light and slim. Mine is a red one and it`s a lovely colour. Overall very good and I am happy with the product but there is one downside. The button on the left next to the screen is difficult to press. So when I take a few photos and try to look at the ones before, I cannot go back to them as button is so small too. I love the big screen though and the menu is easy, I have taken some lovely photos with it. Very high quality pictures, also flash works much better on this one than on others I have tried.
It's 10.1 Mega Pixels and the flash on it isn't that great, but for the size of it it's not bad at all.
It has a bigger screen than the camera I had before - (the casio EX-M2) but it doesn't play MP3s and it doesn't have sound when you playback video clips until you download them to the computer.
Overall the EX-M2 was more fun, but the EX-S3 takes slightly better quality pictures so I have to sacrifice something....
So if your thinking of getting one of the smallest digital cameras in the world that takes great pictures with a flash check out the Casio EX series !
The zoom is a waste of time.
Personally I would never buy a digital camera that was under 3.0 Mega Pixels and a flash is essential. The menu's are ok but not the best I have seen - there are better caleras out now days just as small. Overall good to slip in your pocket.
Casio's EXILIM series was born with the appearance of a ''wearable card camera'' - a digital camera with a very slim form. The EXILIM CARD EX-S10 maintains all of the powerful functionality of the cameras that were later developed in that line (high pixel count, zoom functionality, LCD monitor, photo functions, etc.), but it also embodies a return to a stylish thin form and a strong design presence.
