I bought this camera because I was fed up with our Cannon one which is a much bigger one in size and it was too difficult to carry it around. This one I can just put in my handbag and it`s ready to use any time. It is very light and slim. Mine is a red one and it`s a lovely colour. Overall very good and I am happy with the product but there is one downside. The button on the left next to the screen is difficult to press. So when I take a few photos and try to look at the ones before, I cannot go back to them as button is so small too. It's 10.1 Mega Pixels and the flash on it isn't that great, but for the size of it it's not bad at all. It has a bigger screen than the camera I had before - (the casio EX-M2) but it doesn't play MP3s and it doesn't have sound when you playback video clips until you download them to the computer. Overall the EX-M2 was more fun, but the EX-S3 takes slightly better quality pictures so I have to sacrifice something.... So if your thinking of getting one of the smallest digital cameras in the world that takes great pictures with a flash check out the Casio EX series ! The zoom is a waste of time.
