Advantages: Best shot mode, good quality, optical zoom, digital photo frame feature

Disadvantages: Requires a charging cradle to connect to pc and charge

Have been using this camera for a couple of years not. Where as its not perfect for the more advanced user for holiday photos, personal photo art and memorial events this camera is great:

General good points:

Nice big screen, 3x optical zoom (good for a camera of its size), easy to use, good variety of functions, takes good quality pictures.

Picture quality:

Cant fault it really, at least not during the day regardless of shot distance within its expected range (greater than 15cm). During night sometimes it can be fiddly to find the correct function for the environment you are in, perhaps this is just due to me not knowing a lot about photography though?

Video Quality:

For fun use only as it cant capture fast movements very well, they become blurry. Would be great for video blogs though.

Auto focus:

This differs from mode to mode but assuming you have the correct mode for the environment then the focus seems pretty spot on to me, (better than I could do manually anyway :p).

Photo Functions:

Comes with a lot of functions including self timer, changing the iso, flash, anti shake, red eye reduction, white balance, size and quality settings giving mega pixels and suitable paper size for that quality, ev shift, White balance, choice of filters, flash intensity, contrast, saturation, sharpness, metering, Date stamp, Best shot modes (see next part.

Best Shot modes:

These are pre set settings to set your camera up for the particular environment or type of shot you wish to achieve. There are 30 in total and very useful, there are ones for night times in cities, candle light, sports events, making running water look blurry, out door landscapes, photos of pets, sunset photos and a very useful one for taking photos of writing close up.

Special features:

In addition to this can store and view pdf and text files and while in the charging cradle use it as a digital photo frame with a range of slide show effects.

Durability:

Very good, mines very scratched now but its still a sturdy camera. Id recommend getting a case for it

Bad points:

Just one. You can only charge it and connect it to the pc through the charging cradle which isn't as convenient to carry around with you as a usb link up cable is.

Summary: Very pleased with this product :)
