First of all let me say, this model is one of the most popular among my friends. I cannot really say why: none of them was really too amazed by the quality of pictures. Again, none of them had anything so bad to say about it. I guess being so average is what makes it good. I have to say, I am a bit dissapointed myself. I'd rather own a camera that is difficult to use but helps you make really beautiful pictures. This model is the other way around. It has everything to make pictures taking easy. cameras had to be the shocking battery life. The cost of constantly replacing four AA batteries for just one hours worth of pictures was ridiculously high. However, the Exilim has an amazingly long battery life. You can use this camera for a day and take 200 pictures and it won t run out, in fact I barley see it register anything other than full battery life. The kind of battery it uses is the same used in mobile phones, which means all you have to sit it on the provided cradle in the evening and in the morning it will be fully charged and ready to go.
