Advantages: quality piece, up to date features, bargain

Disadvantages: some shops sell out fast or don't stock them.

Being a bit of a bargain hunter I was at first dubious of spending so much money on a camera and was thinking of ways to justify my purchase. But I had no need to fear as the casio EXZ4 was a good choice.

Before I went and bought this camera all I knew was that I wanted a digital camera that was easy to use, a good investment, no less than 2million pixels and looked cool. So, I went into a few shops and was totally lost at the sight of SO many cameras, which one was right for me?

So, I went home and did a bit of research on the internet. A few proffessional sites commented that the casio EXZ series gave a bluish tinge to the photos so I was a bit put off at first, however, I asked around in a few electronics shops and they said this was quite rare. In the end I bought the casio EXZ4 and am VERY pleased.

It is 4.0-4.9 pixels with as much optical zoom as I will need (obviously not for proffessional use). I am not very good with technical jargon but this camera has all the latest technology AND it's very easy to use, I was clicking away in minutes! A few features it has are:

- you can choose economy, normal or fine resolution
- excellent picture quality
- 2" screen
- small and light weight
- movie mode facility
- auto flash
- capable of the camera memory storing 10 photos (I bought an additional 64MB card that will hold and extra 36 photos)
- slideshows
- USB cable
- charger
- docking bay

I shopped around and found the cheapest was £279.00. However, prices do vary and I have seen it being sold for £349.00. I also got a £50 discount because it was the display model.

I think the cheapest price of £279.00 is a bargain price to pay for a top of the range, good make digital camera that is up to 5million pixels. It is also an investment piece as in a few months or in a year I reckon the lower range digital cameras will fade away and these will be left standing.

It
also allows me to email my photos to family and friends, view them before I have them printed, print them myself and also add special effects to them on the computer. I am not a techincal wizz kid but this camera has made me very happy! And I'm glad to say...there is no sign of any bluish tinge!
