Advantages: Takes decent photos and it's easy to use.
Disadvantages: It took me a while to work out some of the features.
I bought this camera in pink from John Lewis it came with a free cream leather case which had its own strap. Unfortunately the strap on my case broke off and I lost it but the camera has a strap so I use that.
I have managed to take some amazing photos with this camera. While it does not include as much detail as the more expensive cameras it includes enough that I was able to take a photo 100 metres away from the object then blow a small amount of the photo up to poster size while still keeping the quality. I do not know a lot about cameras but this seems pretty good to me.
It has a long battery life, I only had to charge it every few days while I was on holiday and I take a lot of photos. To charge the battery you remove it from the camera and put it in a charging device that plugs into the wall. I have a spare battery for my camera which means that I can always have one that's fully charged. This is a major advantage of this charging system.
The camera uses SD cards to store the photos; the newer SDHC cards are fine in this camera. I have an 8GB SDHC card in the camera and this stores a lot of photos and videos.
The camera has a wide variety of settings including black and white. It has the ability to take video footage although it took me a while to figure out how to do this. You can choose the quality of photo that you want and the type of focus that you want. I am not very technically capable but by reading the manual I figured most of this stuff out.
Overall I really like this camera; it is good quality for a reasonable price. It has also proven itself to be fairly sturdy as I have a habit of dropping it and it hasn't broken yet! I would highly recommend this camera.
Summary: A good quality camera that I would highly recommend.

The previous commenter makes some good points. You do give plenty of helpful detail in your review, and you write clearly - with a bit more detail I would have rated this as VU.
