Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z500

I am fairly new to using a digital camera, having been brought up with a good SLR for years and years and never ever thought a digital camera could do for me what this one does. it is sooooo simple to use, no faffing about with complicated manuals. the 'menu' is great - so easy to understand and straighforward. there are 'best shot' settings which allow you to choose your 'f' stop (aperture) or for beginners gives you the best setting for your picture, i.e. moving subject, running water, backlit shots, night shots, etc. there is even a b/w setting and a sepia tone setting for more dramatic pics.
