Casio goes to 10 MB snapshots (Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z75)
Member Name: saaphillips
Advantages: Clear photos from a distance, small and compact. Disadvantages: Fast focussing not so good, slow flash speed. This camera is really small and easily fits into a pocket, even though it does come with bulky accessories on sale, at an extra cost. The memory stick that comes with the camera is basically only able to take up to 6 times 10 MB photos, and then it is full. The camera itself isn't that good on focussing on close-ups and gets blurred in the process. I often find myself zooming out rather than zooming in, in order to find a good photo to take. Having said that, the quality of the photo from a distance, is really good, and I thoroughly recommend it. It is good in the dark too, but the automatic flash makes me blink before the photo is taken, so we get closed eyes more often than not!!! Maybe I just have quick reflexes! The camcorder feature works within reason, without really losing the subject you are filming in motion. In general, I think it's a good try. Summary: Good try from Casio, practical, but could be better
