Rating:
This may not be the prettiest camera to hit the shops recently but it is a great performer in terms of image quality, and price. The most important bit the lens made by Canon is very fast f2-f2.5 always a good sign.It is sharp throughout the range(7-21mm) similar to 33-100 in 35mm terms, though there is a little distortion at the wide end. The image quality I feel is a really strong point good sharp images at A3 size suprised me. Exposure and colours were all fine. All pics are stored as jpg files only there are no uncompressed file types. The 8mb compact flash card supplied is too small only 5 highest quality images on 1 card better to go for 32mb or ...

The American version comes with a IBM Micro Drive which stores thousands of pictures! The LCD is nice and bright but seems, like all digital ...

aspects of a Digital Camera that should be the best. It takes four AA batteries, and boy does it take them! I placed four brand new Duracell batteries (£3.50) in it which lasted little over 25 minutes. The LCD preview screen is also very jerky. However, it does come with some nifty computer software which lets you create ...
