time you have found the set up you are looking for the subject wil l have moved on. A use full feature though and available on other cameras in the QV range. There is a full range of manual controls on this camera if you are new to digital photography and want all the features on a beginners camera it would be a good choice. It also offers fully automatic modes if you need to take pictures without having had any experience. The one drawback with this camera is that it is only 2 megapixel. It has a lot of features, and an excellent lens but the 2 megapixel lets it down slightly. Though the quality is good, 3 megapixel would have been more suitable for this camera. ...

The camera Casio QV -2800UX has appeared a little bit later than 3000-th model. And many had problem: what to select: 3000, 2800 or 2300? With QV-2300 it is clear, 2-megapixel matrix, whose functional and optical possibilities approximately correspond to 3000-th, however size of a frame at it, naturally, it is less. It means, that there are problems, which 2800 will make better, despite of a smaller matrix. What integrates. Sensitivity at cameras is ...

pocketable. I my search for compromise, I set my bar to 2 megapixels and optical zoom, under £500 with a reasonable amount of memory. This camera from Casio has all the features that you would expect from a point-and-shoot camera, and quite a few actually useable manual modes as well. While the controls are quite well laid out, the feeling is plasticy and a bit clumsy. The optics are very good: 3x optical zoom, with optical viewfinder; very quick - if smallish - LCD panel. Both viewfinders are actually very respectable, with alignment, scale and parallax of the optical one quite comparable with SLR cameras. A true resolution of 2.1 million pixels (1600x1200) ...
