Advantages: easy to use, good options.

Disadvantages: sometimes a bit too much shutter lag on certain settings

This is a simple to use point and click camera, if you want it to be, but.... It also has a variety of selectable options to make the photo taking process even easier my favourite being the best shot feature. This allows you to choose a setting for the particular situation you find yourself in. i have taken some very good sunset pictures using this method. If you want to adjust the settings your self you can manuallly adjust the settings and then save them as a best shot option.

i would recommend this without a second thought.
