powering up. It can be seven or eight seconds from pressing the on button to being able to take a photo, and that feels like an aeon these days. The Concord doesn t really perform like its near-namesake airliner in other areas either. Shutter lag is irksome, and the incredibly annoying phenomenon of having to stop and wait for buffering comes into play, at least at the higher quality settings, after just a couple of pictures. That s very poor performance indeed for a 2005-vintage camera. At first you might be surprised to find that the five-shot continuous mode is actually quite fast, taking well under a second per shot... but then you ll realise that this mode is only ...

I HAVE JUST GOT THIS CAMERA FROM ARGOS ON SALE AT £120 REDUCED FROM £199 AND I HAVE TO SAY THAT I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH IT. THE 3.1MP HARDWARE RESOLUTION ALLOWS AN VERY GOOD IMAGE CLARITY AND THE ABILITY TO PRINT EXCELENT QUALITY A4 IMAGES (SO LONG AS YOUR PRINTER IS UP TO IT) IS HARD NOT TO BE IMPRESSED WITH. THE TFT SCREEN IS A WELCOME ADDITION AND DISPLAYS THE IMAGES CLEARLY AND SHARPLY. THE ADDITION OF A SD SLOT ON THE CAMERA IS WELCOME AS IT ALLOWS EXPANDABILITY AT A DECENT PRICE COMPARED TO OTHER CARDS. THE RANGE OF OPTIONS ON THE CAMERA IS QUITE COMPREHENSIVE WHERE ALMOST ALL FACTORS OF THE PHOTOGRAPH CAN BE ADJUSTED MANUALLY IF REQUIRED EG EXPOSURE LENGTH, ...
