D-Link DSC 100 ... USB, and advanced light-sensing CMOS technology. As a fully contained unit, no video capture card or additional hardware is necessary. The unit simply attaches via a standard USB connector to a PC or downstream USB hub.

DSC-100 ships complete, providing the necessary hardware and software for a user to begin making digital photos and videos immediately. Software is included to upload digital photos or record digital video directly to a PC to edit, save to hard drive or floppy disk, e-mail, or print. The still images are saved in JPG format, and the video is saved in AVI and MPEG format for compatibility with most Windows applications. As a webcam DSC-100 can be connected with any USB enabled PC to deliver 352x288, 320x240, or 160x120 video at 30 frames per second. When used as a webcam it draws its power from the USB bus, extending its battery life and making it a perfect solution for desktops and laptops alike. It features a manual focus to allow the digital capture and transmission of documents and other close objects. DSC-100 is compatible with all popular video conferencing and email programs.
