While I would agree with some of Tracy’s comments I feel she has been a little harsh in criticising this camera. Admittedly it has no flash, the reason I chose to upgrade mine, but for a first camera at a pretty low price it isn’t too bad. This is pretty much an ideal little camera for taking out places where you may be afraid to lose a more expensive model. Also it is simple to operate and does actually have a few useful features if you explore a little. The first of these is a facility to take 20 shots in quick succession. I got my Digital Dream L'Esprit as part of a bundle with a new PC in December 2000. I thought at the time that this 'sounded' quite good as I had wanted a Digital Camera for some time. When I set up my PC and connected the camera I was very disappointed with the so called 'high quality' resolution. I like to dabble with photography and wanted something quick and easy to upload pics to my website - this product is NOT suitable for this task. My husband laughed when I showed him the camera and asked if it was a child's toy... it looks like one! It is very small ...very cheap looking (as I beleive it is £30 -£40 retail) ... very poor ...
