Digital Dream l'espion mini ... won this as a competition so I m not too sure for how much it sells. I was quite happy initally but I quickly understood I shouldn t expect too much. The camera is indeed really small and light, but does feel more like a cheap plastic toy than anything else. You can fit 20 352*288 pictures ("high" resolution) or 80 176*144 pictures (normal resolution) in the memory. They re usually blurry near the border but quite focused in the middle. The colours are quite faithful for the pictures taken outside, but get quite bad inside (pinkish/blue hue). If you search on the Internet you can find all sorts of characters who have a site dedicated to the images they have taken with their miniature digital camera. Look closely. Most of these characters are delighted when they have got the light correct enough to take a reasonable image. Let s look at the selling points of the camera IMAGE QUALITY Image quality on this camera is decidedly average. Digital Dream l'espion ... L'espion is a gadget lover's dream for three reasons. 1: It is tiny and rekindles memories of making spy devices out of toilet roll tubes as a youngster - come on ... we all did it ... didn't we? 2: It has a genuine purpose, in this case, digital camera and web cam combined. 3: It is cheap. This last one is very important as most gadget fiends I know have a partner who fails to share their enthusiasm for the weird and wacky world of electronic wizardry.
