Advantages: image quality, ease of use, good software
Disadvantages: memory, power drain and bulkiness
I have owned an 850z for about 6 months now. It has captured about 2000 images for me in that time and I have always been impressed with the quality and resolution of the pics. This is quite something for a sub-500 quid camera, because in my professional life I spend all day capturing and manipulating images from high-end scanners and cameras -- so I am not easily impressed with the quality of consumer kit... Things I like about the camera: 1. Good quality image 2. Easy to use 3. Good software package for Mac users 4. Good range of cables and connectors 5. Particularly easy to use in conjunction with Epson inkjet printers Things I don't like: 1. Can only get 12 high resolution images on the memory card that comes with the camera 2. The batteries don't last long, and there is no mains adaptor supplied with the camera 3. Slightly too bulky for carrying with you all the time I would recommend this product. However, you must keep in mind that it is the type of product that has an extremely short lifespan in terms of desirability. It will only be a few months before a better, smaller, more powerful, cuter and cheaper version appears in the shops.
