Description: Model ID B31B165003 / Epson PhotoPC L-400 - Digital camera - 4.0 Mpix - optical zoom: 3 x / The EPSON PhotoPC L-400 is a new EPSON digital camera that is built to bring out the best in home photography. Stylish and sophisticated but extremely flexible and easy to use, it is packed ... more
Epson PhotoPC L-400 ... with features that bring photo fun and creativity to every member of the family.

The exclusive EPSON PhotoPC Engine is a built-in processor, which acts as a PC and enables quick and easy direct printing on a range of EPSON Stylus Photo printers. Not only does the PhotoPC Engine handle Direct Print functions such as JPEG Data Compression, Print Image Matching II and Exif Print data processing, it also allows you to manipulate your image through resizing and rotating.

Exclusive built-in photo framing (P.I.F.) adds creativity with a wide selection of fun frames including a selection of Disney templates to choose from. These can be applied either before or after the photo is taken, so subjects can be simply lined up in a frame on the LCD screen or framed at a later date.

This compact camera has a high quality look and feel, with lightweight metal body that is both durable and attractive.

Simple to operate controls and clear menu interface provide quick access to all modes, settings and printing functions. They keep users fully informed throughout the photo process - from the moment you take your picture to the final print.

Thanks to the new low consumption PhotoPC engine, you can now take over 500 photos using standard AA batteries - eliminating the need for special battery packs, power cables or chargers.

Rating:

The Epson 3000 is a manual and Automatic camera. It has 3.34 Mega pixels 34-102 mm zoom lens, a 6cm macro and Compact Flash Storage 16MB supplied taking at best JPG mode about 8 pictures or 1 uncompressed. Other useful features are a Hotshoe on top of the camera for an external flash gun, great for taking pictures that ...

Premium Review Serious Stuff (386 words)

Rating:

want an all-pro camera that would bankrupt me, and I also didn't want a simple point-and-shoot which wouldn't give me complete control over the exposure if I chose to. The Epson does both admirably. There are three different exposure modes from full-auto, to program mode (aperture/shutter priority), to complete manual. This should please the professional photographer's needs, as well as the point-and-shooter. This camera is able to produce 2.1 million pixels, and not the 2.9 as quoted in places. The Epson is able to capture, and export exposure information such as shutter speed, aperture, flash, resolution, etc. This camera also has the capability to take ...

Premium Review I like the Epson 850z (223 words)

Rating:

in conjunction with Epson inkjet printers Things I don't like: 1. Can only get 12 high resolution images on the memory card that comes with the camera 2. The batteries don't last long, and there is no mains adaptor supplied with the camera 3. Slightly too bulky for carrying with you all the time I would recommend this product. However, you must keep in mind that it is the type of product that has an extremely short lifespan in terms of desirability. It will only be a few months before a better, smaller, more powerful, cuter and cheaper version appears in the shops. ...
