I have been using SLR cameras for years and if I say so myself I am quite an accomplished armature photographer. Specialising in Landscapes and Nature. Getting in to Computers I soon found that there is a world of photography that I had yet to discover, Digital. The more I learned about the subject the more I wanted to jump in and get myself a digital camera. I shopped around and found the Fuji Finepix 2600 Zoom. This little camera is just the job. The knowledge I hade of Photography the hard way helped immensely and I was soon shooting away. With the help of some really useful gadgets. Like the 1.8in LCD screen which allows you to frame exactly what you want in the finished photograph. The framing guide, two horizontal and two vertical lines so that all those horizons will by straight or the lamp post coming out of Aunty Mabel?s head. The ability to view each picture and if necessary delete it allows you to instantly re-position Aunty Mabel and get a good shot. The Zoom allows you to pose Aunty Mabel and then get in close you can have a full length shot and a head and shoulders without moving. There is also a self timer so you can set the camera down on a wall and then join Aunty Mabel in the picture. The beauty of the software supplied is that after loading the pictures on to the computer you can remove Aunty Mabel and have a picture of just you. Its all so easy Fuji have really thought about this product and it shows. It is simple to use but judging by the results done by an expert. It?s not all good though, the flash in my opinion could have been better. The results of flash pictures taken at night have not been very good. I will however concede that this may be down to me as I have never been able to master Flash Photography. The Fuji Finepix 2600 Zoom is an excellent digital camera and at the price well worth it
