Advantages: great design, nice small size, great quality pics

Disadvantages: not good webcam, pics no good if subject is moving

I bought the fujifilm finepix 6800 two years ago when it had been newly released ..I have noticed now that it has gone down in price a bit. Well what can I say...if you are looking for a good quality digital camera that is easy to use I would definately recommend this one. I am an amateur photographer but had no problems taking pics with my new camera...all information is displayed on the screen and you shouldn't have difficulty working it out. Quality of the pictures is amazing most of the time; especially outdoors. However you have to be careful and make sure the subject is not moving otherwise all you get is a blurred pic! I guess the great thing about digital cameras is that you can check out the photo as soon as you have taken it; you can either set it to automotically show you the picture straight away or go to the play mode after you have taken all your pictures. Quality of the video clips isn't brilliant especially if you watch them on the video....but they are a lot of fun! The pictures are easily transferred to the computer through a cradle in which the camera sits which is connected to a USB port. The only problem I have is that the picture that is transferred is very very big in size and need to be adjusted. The camera can also be used as a webcam; although i prefer normal webcams that sit on the monitor; firstly because you get a better angle with a proper webcam and secondly because I don't think the 6800 is suited to being used daily as a webcam as after doing this my lenscover developed some problems and has now been sent back to the manufacturer!!!! But don't let this deter you; I love my 6800 and can't wait to get it back! Even if you don't want to use this camera it's great as a fashion accesory!
