Advantages: Picture quality, compact

Disadvantages: Will fall to bits rather quickly

I purchased this camera about 4 years ago for the huge sum of £350. Back then this was a high spec top of the range digital camera. Overall I would have been pretty happy with it, if it wasnt for the fairly recent complete breakdown of every aspect of it!

The picture quality is excellent and the camera feels of a high quality. Its responsive and has a decent amount of features.

About 6 months ago, some chip inside it failed which caused all pictures to come out all green and distorted. After emailing Fuji to have them not reply, I looked into finding the near impossible customer service phone number, and when I eventually found it Fuji arranged to fix it.

With every working fine, a matter of 4 weeks later, the camera has now developed another fault, where it cant even take any pictures. After constantly trying to get in touch with Fuji over the past days with no luck so far.

I expected a camera of such high value to last a little longer than a few years, very dissapointing. Additionally Fuji's customer support is pathetic.

Summary: Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but I want something to last longer
