Fujifilm MX-1700

The Fuji MX-1700 is a stunning digital camera for the mid-range buyer and was honored with an Innovations 2000 award for design and engineering excellence from the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). Unfortunately, production has been discontinued as it has been superseded by models such as the FinePix4700 zoom, but it can still be found in a few online shops and for sale at auction sites such as ebay. As I got this camera out the box I thought pphworr! This looks nice. Plugged it in and within minutes I was taking high quality pictures and lightning fast speeds. Looking at the camera, it's packaged in a ultra-modern silver titanium look case. The buttons and dials are easy to use and understand and within minutes you will be ready to go. FujiFilm's new MX-1700 shows that the company's commitment to the MX-700's original design remains unchanged. The MX-700, 1700 and 2700 series of cameras all use a design that immediately exclude the camera as any thing other than a digital one. This is my first digital camera and I have to say I am VERY impressed. While it does lack some features (such as multishoot), it does give you all those you need for most uses (flash, zoom, lcd screen, timer). The camera sits well in the hand (as long as you're right handed!) and has good ergonomics and while not as small as cameras such as the digital ixus, it is reasonably small to fit in a coat pocket. Cow poo, we have this great camera, all singing all dancing camera and what do we do with it, take pictures of cow poo. I suppose I ought to fill you in a little more on the details of it all, my boss bought the camera returning from an American conference and it has taken pride of place as part of our lab equipment. The lab we work in deals with bacteria in the environment, for environment read poo.
