Fujifilm is a top performer in the digital camera market and the MX-700 is definitely no exception! While it is not one of the newer models, it's performance still rates highly, and is good enough for me, and thousands of other users! A very compact size, the MX-700 can easily fit into the palm of your hand, and pictures can easily be taken single handedly! But that's not all that makes it good - here's a breakdown: - 1.5 megapixel resolution - 3 different quality modes - Top quality - 1280 x 1024 pixels - Uses smartmedia, 2MB, 4MB, 8MB, 16MB, 32MB and 64MB - LCD screen - Runs off batteries or DC power supply - Flash can be altered for different conditions - Video out so you can display your photos on TV or even record them onto video - Easy setup mode - Self Timer Photo Setting - Playback of single photos or thumbnails on LCD screen - Photo deletion on camera - Photo / whole memory protection - PC Transfer mode All in all this is a great camera, it is easy to take pictures with and the quality is superb. I am an amateur and I am "well impressed". This is indeed a piece of equipment that Fujifilm and owners worldwide should be proud of.
The FUJI MX-700 is one of the best digital cameras FUJI has produced, I have owned one now for two years its great! the retro style ,light , compact , very easy to use, smart media cards, and the back up of FUJI true pros, now the other side of the coin the FUJI MX-700 looks amazingly like the LEICA DIGILUX (could it be a clone) yes i think it could be you know but the product would have to be good for LEICA to put there name on it.
The Fuji MX700 is really in a class of its own. It is light, compact and easily concealed. A cristal clear view screen and manual exposure facilities allow near perfect colour balances to be deterined before you press the shutter button. This makes low light pictures without flash possible particularly in warm colour situations where auto white balance is a must. Any keen photographer who is thinking of going digital requires more than your average digicam if you are thinking of winning those exhibition places and this camera should help you achieve it. I say help, because no matter how good the equipment the picture and its production is down to you (and your printer of course).
