      Very helpful

My partner had this camera bought for him for his birthday last year. Although not the most common of models from Fujifilm, it is a very nifty little camera! £150.00 appears to be the roundabout price that could expect to pay for this model.. Have a look at www.savastore.com. Memory cards can be bought for less than ten pounds with the higher memory banks costing around £40.00. Not too badly priced, I think! The camera comes well boxed, quite neatly with a software disc and manual. There also comes with a Quick start guide, to assist you in taking simple photos and introducing you to the basic controls. The camera also comes with a 16MB xD-Picture card with an anti-static case, 2 LR6 rechargeable AA size alkaline batteries, a USB cable and a handle/strap. The batteries are easily inserted into the base of the camera, the card into the side. The manual has clear pictures, not photos, of how to do this. The camera is no bigger than a regular camera and is stylish in a chrome finish. The basic functions of the camera are controlled by a dial on the back of the camera. A very simple design; a dial which has symbols to indicate each function. A movie camera symbol indicates the movie mode; a simple green triangle indicates the playback mode, the same type of symbol as used on a VCR. A camera symbol indicates still photography whilst a tulip indicates close up or Macro shots. There is also a self timer mode which is shown by a stopwatch symbol. Above the control dial there is a simple button which clicks up or down to zoom in or out. Left and right of the button give options to erase or store shots. You can chose between one frame or all frames. Below the control dial, there is a flash button. There are five flash modes. Auto, Red &
#69;ye reduction, forced flash, suppressed flash and slow synchro. The five options give you a perfect flash for every scenario, indoor, bright sunshine etc. The self timer photography is useful for group shots. The camera automatically takes a picture after ten seconds. The countdown is indicated by a red blinking light. There is a 3x optical lense on this camera which increases the success rate of photos being in focus. My only problem with this camera is that still shots are quite hard to take without a Tripod. The camera needs to be held perfectly still which has proofed rather tricky for me in the past! The FinePix A203 also features the ability to record movie clips of up to about 20 seconds each in fine pixel filming or 80 seconds 160 pixel filming, which can be combined into movie footage using the included Video Impression software. These are easily transferred onto your PC using the USB cable. The films do not have sound unfortunately but you can still capture some of the magic of your family and friends. Sound can always be added using other PC packages, once uploaded to your PC. You can have great fun making home movies! Each memory card/ Picture card holds around 95 seconds in 320 pixel filming or 5 minutes in 160 pixel filming. Not a great deal of space so it is handy to have a few cards spare! To take pictures to suit your needs, there are four settings:- A6 ? A5 size, A7 ? A6 size, to send as email attachments. I?m not sure what the other one is! Sorry ! Depending on the quality of the photo selected, you can take up to 120 shots. For the highest quality a total number of 26 shots is possible! Not the greatest of memories but cheaper than using films and paying for processing! An ideal solution for anyone wanting a very
compact and simple to use camera. There are lots of little technical details tot his camera but I don?t know what they mean so I have reviewed what I have found, rather than just copying the manual! My final word:- If I can use it then any one can!! Thank you for reading! Kerry xx
