As my old camera, a Sony had broken, I decided against spending £60 minimum on a repair and instead decided to upgrade my camera and get a better one with more pixels. After taking advice from a helpful sales assistant in Jessops, I decided that the Fujifilm A210 was within my price range and would suit my needs perfectly. Cost: I bought the camera in May 2004 at a cost of £129.00. Inside the box was a leaflet from Jessops offering their repair protection plan. The cost for a 3 year repair protection plan for digital cameras whether new or old was £30. I decided against this though as I felt it was unnecessary. If it breaks down, it can be as good to ... I have fancied a digital camera for some time now, and felt quite envious when my brother did a photo album of his grandchild on CD. Then on a break with friends, they revealed a new Kodak digital camera, and I was hooked ? I wanted a good one! In the past I had bought a couple of the cheap variety, you know the sort you can get online for about £20-40. They had never proved satisfactory, and the pictures weren?t of any good standard. So with my birthday looming, I decided to ask for a digital camera or if no one liked me that much ? money so I could save for one. My wife kindly donated ... Read the complete review

I have had this camera for about a week now, and I haven?t stopped using it. It?s my new gadget (or toy, some might say!) I can?t say I take pictures often, but I have fancied having a digital camera for ages now, and what a choice I made. I was bored at work one day, and so started flicking through a catalogue, and this camera seemed to just jumped out at me. Less than 24 hours later, I was clicking away! It is so easy to use, and it comes with all the accessories that you need to download your pictures onto a computer. The pack includes: Camera (obviously!), 2 Batteries, USB cable, 16mb Xd-picture card, Cradle adapter, Special video cable, strap, and a CD-Rom. ... Read the complete review

This is my second Fuji Finepix, the first having come to a sad end on a trip to Robben Island, when the promised 'light spray' on the boat turned into a deluge. I opted to replace my previous model, a Finepix 2600 with the A210. The specs are pretty much identical: 3x optical, 10x digital zoom, 2megapixels (they've done something clever to bump up the effective pixels recorded), and the same modes of operation -- auto and manual providing scope for adjusting white balance, as well as a great macro mode. The pixel spec may look low compared to newer models coming out but: I've made perfectly good 10 x 8 prints, and mostly you will send ... Read the complete review

This camera, although 3.2. MP, is awful, simply because it looks appalling, is slow when operating and uses up batteries like there's no tomorrow. I have had this camera for 3 years now and have recently bought a new one because of my problems with it, my mum, to whom i have given the camera to, also agrees. The time taken to process between shots is ridiculous, you take a photo and almost a minute later, you are able to take another shot. I feel this time between shots problem is outdated and the more modern, new cameras achieve a much faster in-between-shot time. I would strongly advise you to not purchase this camera, and to ignore all other ... Read the complete review
