Great occasional camera (Fujifilm Finepix A900)

I bought this camera for £69.99 and it has been the best digital camera i have owned due to the fact it is a handy size for the amount of quality pictures it takes. This model is very handy for day trips and everyday photos. The picture output is fabulous also for close up pictures or photos to be uploaded on webites, as the fine details show clearly onyour pc, which is also great for photo editing online. The camera is extremely easy and straight forward to work considering i have never had a fujifilm product before to work with. The menu buttons are quite self explantatory.
However while still under my 12 month guarentee the camera became unusable as it suddenly decided to continue with the zoom out , leaving me unable to use apart from view my photos already taken. I was told it couldnt be repaired and it is not covered under the 12 month guarentee that i had. Even thow it had not be dropped or banged or anything on my behalf. Upon this i began to surf the net for hopefully ideas on how to fix it . And to my horror i found hundreds of websites of with consumers with the same problem, So this seems to be a manufactors fault , which they will not resolve or refund for . However i had mine less than 12 months i found some others have lasted longer than this . So i shall not be purchasing the same model again and would only suggest this model if it is just going to be used occasionally.
