Advantages: good name, easy to use and sleek design

Disadvantages: not too good for photography

I bought this camera from Argos on special offer for £60 down from about £100 and I did have high expectations because of the high price, megapixels and the good brand name - fujifilm. I have owned fujifilm cameras before, but never a 9mp before.

This was my second digital camera and I had a good idea what to expect with it and how to use it. The camera doesn't have lots of buttons on the back, you can zoom in and out with a dial on the shutter button which I prefer to pressing a button, and it is in an ideal place. The off/on button is located ontop of the camera and is quite small so you don't knock it by accident when trying to take a picture. You can turn the flash on or off and you can have it in different shooting conditions, but I've never used these, I've always just put it on or turned it off as I need it. You can change the camera settings by turning a dial on the back of the camera, there are several of these including the video camera, a shake-control which minimises blurring during motion photos, a soft one for children and others. The flash on the camera isn't really really bright so doesn't blind people when you take their picture unlike some cameras.

It's easy to find your pictures after you've taken them, you just press the play button and then scroll through and deleting them takes just a second and two buttons. It's a lot easier than my previous camera.

This camera can hold an SD card for additional memory that I'd definitely recommed you to buy because the camera's internal memory only holds about 7 pictures - very disapointing! I have a 2GB memory card in mine that hold loads of pictures and videos and it only cost about £7 on ebay.

The camera itself takes 2 AA batteries to work which do tend to run out fairly fast, so I always recommend taking some out with you if you're going out for the day. I also recommend using re-charagable batteries to save going through lots of batteries - it's saved me an absoloute fortune!

The picture quality from this camera is very pleasing. 9.9/10 of the pictures are perfectly clear and bright and look great when they're on the bigger screen like the laptop. The video quality is also really good but the sound on the video isn't brilliant. Still - it is a camera, not a camcorder so I can't complain.

The camera is sleek and stylish in a nice silver colour that doesn't show the scratches hardly at all. I am really pleased with this camera, I've dropped it a good few times but the images or functionality of the camera hasn't been affected at all.

When you zoom, the image quality isn't quite as good, but it doesn't go too bad. This camera also isn't brilliant for taking close up images like for photography which is what my daughter tries with it. It doesn't seem to pick up on the tiny details which is what you would want but it is brilliant for landscape or portrait pics.

The camera comes with a USB lead so you can put your pictures onto the computer with ease, and if you lose it, they're on ebay for £5.00 - Goodness, I'm like an ebay guru!

Overall, this camera is certainly worth the money and I'd definitely recommend it to others.

Summary: I like this camera a lot.
