A great camera, with just 1 small, rather annoying problem.

Advantages: lots of picture settings, shoot in 1080P HD with high quality sound
Disadvantages: 640p mode is glitchy, requires 2 X AA Batteries and drains them quite fast
Firstly, let me start by saying this a great camera, it takes sharp pictures, with a huge array of different settings for things such as ISO, Lighting, Flash, image stabilization and Macro mode, it has different picture modes for different situations which it detects automatically or manually depending on your preference, it has face recognition and has a respectable 12 megapixels, the lens itself is also very good, resulting in extremely crisp pictures, with tremendous detail.
It shoots Full HD Video (1080p) which looks fantastic, even in darkly lit rooms it takes very clear videos, with lots of colour, the sound is also excellent, not tinny or distorted, it really is a great point and shoot HD video camera.
However, it is the with the Video camera that the 'rather annoying problem' arises, the camera comes with 3 video quality settings of 360p, 640p and 1080p, both 320p and 1080p work perfectly, but the problem occurs when you record in 640p, occasionally, if you record a video in 640p mode it will be out of sync by a long way, around 30 seconds, this makes the 640p function completely unusable and unreliable, and i would advise you not to use the 640p recording mode. (I have checked similar reviews and many people experience this issue so it's not just me)
The Camera design is quite nice, it fits nicely in the hand, it has virtually no internal memory, around 32mb, so you'll need a hefty SD Card as HD Video's can result in files of 500mb plus, i'd recommend a 8GB + card.
it requires 2 x AA batteries and on a full charge it will shoot around 60/70 minutes of HD video, or take around 150/200 pictures, I would much prefer a lithium ion battery as this device really does drain power fast! rechargeable AA batteries are a must for this camera, It also comes with the standard tripod screw area, and Mini USB slot.
All in all, overlooking the 1 major problem, this is a very good camera for a very low price, it can be picked up for under 50 pounds, and considering it shoots perfect 1080p HD, i am willing to overlook the 640p issue and award this camera a favourable 4 our of 5.
Thank you for reading my review.
Summary: A very good point and shoot camera for a very low price.
