I have owned a number of different compact cameras over the years and a lot of them have been disappointing, even those that were 12 or 14 megapixels and great optical zoom seemed to fail me in a lot of situations. I recently purchased this camera for a holiday and have taken around 200 shots without any problems. As the price of this camera is so low (a meer £75!) I did have my doubts over quality as that is extremely cheap for a 14MP camera (especially with high def image capture at 16:9 and video capture with sound at 720p) - however, for the money it does the job perfectly and im happy with the results.
