This camera is the first and only camera that I have ever owned. And I have owned it for several years and never really had any major problems with it but i do have a few niggles.

First lets start with the tech points:

Three shoot modes: standard; chrom and black and white
Night mode
and many other features.

The pros

This camera is really robust, it has been knocked and bumped lots in the years and still functions perfectly well. It is also very easy to use, a great camera for beginners as it is pretty much a point and shot camera. It is very easy to transfer photos from the camera to a PC as well as Pictbridge capability. It also has a large screen for reviewing photos instantly.

The cons

As it is an older camera it is quite bulky and I believe that Fujifilm have actually released a more streamlined version of the camera to tackle this. Alsi, the cables required to charge, transfer photos and have visual output must all be plugged into this type of adapter which plugs into one streamline plug in the camera. This means less plugs on the camera which is good but also makes it fiddly to set up as you can not simple plug and play as they say!!! The battery life can also drain quite quickly too.
