The FinePix F460 is a metal compact camera. Fuji is well known for its high image quality. The F460 has everything that a person would want in a camera. It has a very large LCD screen, top-rated movie mode, automatic modes.
I must say the camera is strikingly small. On the back of the camera there are simple buttons. The optical zoom is really good when you have the digital zoom turned on you can even zoom closer.
I must point out that on the view finder of the camera you may be not as impressed as of the quality of the previewed picture but do not feel deceived as once you capture the picture the quality of the picture is brilliant.
It has a rechargeable battery and in-box charger that will save you money on buying AA batteries.
The auto setting is a great function on the camera if you want to take simple pictures. The flash on the camera gives your desired picture a great quality. The camera also allows you to video record.
The FinePix 460 has given me no problems. I would definitely recommend the FinePix F460.

The FinePix F460 Zoom is a well-specified metal compact camera, with everything you could wish for in a photographic companion. Large LCD screen, top-rate movie mode, extensive automatic modes, all rounded off with the image quality for which Fujifilm is well known.
With a distinctive sleek design and a trademark 'bend' in the profile, the F460 will sit in the hand beautifully. All the main controls fall under your fingers, and the simplicity of operation is clear, even before you have switched the camera on.
Once you have tried out the screen of the F460 Zoom, you will find it difficult to use other digital cameras. The 60 fps refresh rate makes action look almost lifelike, when compared to the jerky refresh rates of cameras in the same category. The detail and color of the image will also leap out of the generously proportioned 2.5" LCD monitor.
Some people spend years learning the best settings for every photographic situation. With the F460 Zoom, you don't have to. Shooting a sensational sunset? Don't worry about the settings, just switch to the "Sunset" scene position to get results that will do the scene justice. Similarly, scene positions such as "Beach and Snow" and "Party" take care of situations that would normally flummox a digital camera.
The F460 possesses a stunning movie mode that belies its small dimensions. 30 fps video at a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels will see you proudly showing your movie clips on your television. What's more, the camera enables you to pause the playback and advance forwards and backwards frame by frame, enabling you to see every little detail of the action.
Everyone knows that the number of pixels isn't as important as the image and processor quality within the camera. On top of that, the lens plays a decisive role in influencing the quality of the final image. The F460 Zoom makes full use of the pedigree of professional-standard optical design.
It's reassuring to know that as long as the camera has power, you can take a picture - the F460 Zoom contains a very useful 13MB of internal memory, which is enough to accommodate those emergency images that you didn't have space for on the card. With that said, the main storage for images on the F460 Zoom should be an additional xD card, which will allow you to accommodate almost as many images as you like.
