Advantages: not difficult to use

Disadvantages: blurry pictures regardless of settings

I was pretty unhappy with this camera. I got it as a present but it was highly recommended to my mum by the assistant in store ... Although the menus and buttons were easy enough to use, I found that I was absolutely unable to produce a sharp picture, even if I made sure the anti shake or sport/action function was on and I placed the camera on a surface. Pretty much every single photo I took came out blurry, which was rather annoying. In the end I got my mum to take it back to the shop and exchange it for a nikon one, and even with less mega pixels I've been enjoying it ever since. I wonder if the fuji camera had a fault or something but in any case I was expecting it to take decent-looking photos and it didn't. Put me off buying fuji in the future.
