Fantastic For New & Not So New Digital Camera Users (Fujifilm Finepix J50)
Member Name: Silverwillow
Advantages: Compact, High Battery Life, Easy To Use Functions, Easily Navigated Menus Disadvantages: I honestly can't think of any I received the camera as a surprise gift and what a fantastic surprise it has been. It's compact, has great battery life and fantastic quality photo's. Video's that are recorded play with clear sound when played back and are of much higher quality when viewed on a computer than I was expecting. The menu's are extremely easy to navigate and the functions are all pretty much self explanatory. It's so easy to use that my mum insisted we purchase her the same one for her birthday (and she hated the things before borrowing mine). It takes a standard XD memory card which means they are available far and wide and at great low prices. The memory card and battery slot are easily accessible making it very easy to take both out for charging/emptying. The baby mode makes it obvious at who this camera is aimed at but with the option to delve deeper into the settings it is not just for the new parents amongst us. Summary: A fantastic present for a mum/dad
