In addition to the spectacular zoom lens, the FinePix S5000 Zoom also boasts Fujifilm's Super CCD HR technology, ensuring images are clearer and sharper than cameras with a traditional CCD. Refined in-camera signal processing has taken Super CCD HR's performance to a new level of sharpness and image purity. What's more, the resulting 3.1 million effective and 6 million recorded pixels can be stored exactly as they were recorded, using the camera's RAW mode. With low power consumption - just one of the benefits offered by the xD-Picture Card system - and spot metering to capture complex image tones accurately, the FinePix S5000 Zoom is a technical all-rounder with a lens that excels. |

for a new camera for college work, and those remember able moments (after the previous one become very outdated and was dropped many times), we came across this camera: the Finepix F20. Managing to purchase it for a reduced price of £100, offering a spec it does, it was hard to find any other. It uses 3x zoom, featuring a 6.1-megapixel SuperCCD HR Sensor , 2000 ISO max sensitivity, and 300 shots per full battery charge; to some people these details will mean nothing (with me being one of them), and so I will therefore try and review this product to the best of my knowledge. The camera claims to offer shutter speeds that had previously reserved for professional photographic equipment thus allowing the humble consumer to achieve higher quality shots! This is the main emphasis that the camera was marketed on, so did it live up to expectations in this way and in the other ways we would expect a digital camera to perform? Firstly the camera has a ...
