The Fujifilm Finepix S6500fd is an excellent camera for just such a great price. I got mine a few months ago now from amazon for £149.99 and got an offer with a 2GB memory card for just £12. I was pretty impressed. But unfortunately, it isn't just about the price, it is about the quality too; but we won't have a problem with that because the photos it produces are amazing. I have to admit the photos aren't going to be as good as a camera that costs £1,000, but they are very good for a camera that cost that much!

The camera is quite a complex camera I feel, but yet not to complex as I beleive it is designed for begginers to semi-proffesionals. The camera can be used for filming, of course it depends how much memory you have to have an approximate running time. The camera settings for still photographs are: AUTO; Picture stabilization; Natural light; portrait; Landscape; scene position; Programme AE; Shutter priority AE; Aperture Priority AE and Manual. You can playback things you have taken or filmed or even voice recorded.

When you purchase the camera a 195 paged Owner's Manual comes with the package too. I found this very helpful and have learnt how to use the camera by this.

I do recommend you check out this camera as I personally have taken some pretty good photos.
