Fujifilm Finepix S7000 Zoom ... HR sensor, employing an amazing 6.3 million effective pixels to deliver ultra-high resolution images of 4048 x 3040 (12.3 million) recording pixels. Made possible through Fujifilm's advanced miniaturization technology, and optimized in tandem with a newly developed state-of-the-art image-processor, the 4th-Generation Super CCD HR ensures greater sensitivity, higher signal-to-noise ratio, wider tonal range, and consistently superb color reproduction. The FinePix S7000 processes even large image files with remarkable speed, and the on-board ASIC processor permits rapid-fire shooting.

To give you the versatility you need to capture any subject, the FinePix S7000's outstanding Super EBC Fujinon 6x optical zoom lens offers a focal range equivalent to 35-210mm on a 35mm camera. In addition to the zoom button on the back of the camera, you can manually control zooming by turning a ring around the lens barrel, just as you would with a conventional SLR film camera. This professional-quality, precision-built lens boasts extremely low chromatic aberration and multi-layer coating. For complete control over depth of field, you have a choice of 10 levels in 1/3 EV steps. And when you need to get even closer, the FinePix S7000 allows smooth digital zooming up to 3.2x (in 1280 x 960-pixel mode), extending total zoom range to approximately 19.2x.

I got this camera for my birthday which was about a year ago now, so i've had plenty of time to test out this camera and see how it copes capturing some great experiences. Throughout the year that I have owned this camera i have never had any problems with it. It gives out great quality pictures and has lots of different modes for taking photos. Personally I have never really tested out many of the modes but i have seen the great range of options to choose from. If you're thinking of buying it as a casual camera then I would say 'go for it' because the layout of this camera makes it very simple and straight forward to use. just want to take a picture. With a low number of features on offer the Finepix A700 is also one of the cheapest seven megapixel cameras you will find on the market. The main problem I found and only reason I would not buy one again was because after a small fall in my bag, the LCD display broke inside, this was due to pressure put on the screen. This couldn t be fixed. I bought the exact one again, thinking it was faulty but 6 months later the same happened,. I didn t however have it in a propper secure case.
