Very Reliable Camera, had it 1.5 years before someone stole it last April (Fujifilm Finepix S9600)

Made from a Nikon body this Fuji film was My first Professional camera and for the price really gives more than you would think.
It produces a 9 Megapixel picture and provides you with upto 80 ISO. I upgraded to an SLR camera D90 so I can definitly say that the Fuji is extremely good for it's price.
It has a very user friendly menu similar to Nikon and dials all in the right place. you can select auto and manual focus.
The Lense is a fixed one but it zooms to a very good 10x so what else do you really need.
The Camera uses 4 AA Batteries and you can choose your own Aperture, shutter speed steps and high speed shooting.
The Auto Focus is based on an LCD picture rather than what d-slr's do. But I've never had a problem with this camera and I only upgraded to the D90 as my camera was stolen.
Also you have a great rubber grip for when your zooming in. The flash is also a good feature.
Also the fact that it has CCD is another plus point over the CMOS senser in my opinion along with the Compact Flash Card over the tiny San Disk of the D90 but both are great in their own way.
Jessops sold me theirs when I matched price with them on an online look they dropped the price by about £20.
