Good for beginners (Fujifilm Finepix S9600)

Advantages: Easy to use, well built and easy to hold

Disadvantages: not the greatest picture quality but still ok for what you're paying.

The Fuji Finepix S9600 was my second digital camera which I have owned and my first real step into actual photography instead of point and press.

The camera picture quality isn't great, but if you're a beginner into photography then this camera is probably the camera for you.

The display is easy to use, the picture quality as mentioned isn't great but it's good, the camera is well built and fits perfectly in your hand, the screen is clear to view along with the lens having a decent size zoom which also has macro functionality.

The macro functionality on the camera is my personal favorite although it only works well if you are incredibly close to the target of your photo otherwise it can't focus.

Additionally you are also able to switch off the autofocus on the lens and manually focus on your intended target which is what I prefer for macro photography.

All in all this is a good camera for any beginner as it's not as expensive as a Digital SLR but has alot of the functionality whilst also still having the point and press functionality of cheaper and more basic cameras.

Summary: Decent camera for anyone considering taking up photography as a hobby
