The Fuji Finepix S9600 was my second digital camera which I have owned and my first real step into actual photography instead of point and press. The camera picture quality isn't great, but if you're a beginner into photography then this camera is probably the camera for you. The display is easy to use, the picture quality as ... This was my first professional camera when I first started getting into photography, and I'm still being impressed by it. Before this camera, I was used to piddly little compact digital cameras that you basically turned to 'Auto' and clicked away for easy results. However, I decided I needed something more, and after a bit of careful ... Read the complete review

Made from a Nikon body this Fuji film was My first Professional camera and for the price really gives more than you would think. It produces a 9 Megapixel picture and provides you with upto 80 ISO. I upgraded to an SLR camera D90 so I can definitly say that the Fuji is extremely good for it's price. It has a very user friendly menu ... Read the complete review

I purchased this camera when i was looking to cross-over from simple point and shoot cameras into the world of DSLR cameras and I couldn't be more pleased. I purchased this for well below the RRP on amazon for £189.99 and was amazed at the product quality and quality of images it produced at that price point. The camera has a quick ... I purchased this camera when looking to buy a semi-professional piece of photography equipment to use at live music concerts. I was put off by the prices of the professional DSLR cameras that have price tags out of this world, but this camera impressed me with its functions and price. The built in zoom allows you to get superb up close ... Read the complete review

This is only our second digital camera, but we decided to go upmarket with this one. The Finepix s9600 has a RRP of £423, but can be found in a lot of places for considerably less than that. We got ours from Amazon for a sweet £179.99. The s9600 is designed to bridge the gap between a point and click camera and a true SLR, and is a good ... Read the complete review

This S9600 was my first proper digital camera, I still own it but I moved up to better cameras, but only because I needed the extra zoom and closer macro, this camera did everything right and even a couple things better than my 4x more expensive new one, the noise is well under control, focus is very good (not manual) image quality and resolution ... You can read the reviews elsewhere but I would like to add some points These features save you big time money and maintenance. Comes with a 58mm filter thread. This means it can take many accesories like filters/wide angle adapters etc. Uses AA batteries. With Canons you need to buy adapter tubes. Does not ... Read the complete review

I wish three things:
1) I wish Fuji gave a proper lens hood instead of the flower hood.
2) I wish the LCD was as flipflop as some of Canon's.
3) I wish the strap lug was scientifically designed. Sheer physics and commonsense, I suppose.
Of course, the AA batteries do make sense.

Fuji rarely disappoint, and this is no exception. At 9.0 Million pixels, you are guarenteed great print quality. The number of features also ranks impressively. The zoom allows for great flexibility and it's easy to operate and get the hang of. The screen is wonderful and the camera's general speed is handy for taking that quick snapshot that most ...
