Not for people wanting to take photography seriously

Not a bad camera........waterproof works (or at least its fish tank proof - I've not been to the maximum 5m), freezeproof, dustproof & shockproof is a greta extra too. The screens a great size, the only thing I find is a shame that there is no cover over the lens - my old camera when you turned it on the lens covers automatically opened. With there not being a cover over the lens could be a let down, especially if you dont have a case as it will get scratch/damaged so easily and quickly too!!
The zoom is a let down because the closer you zoom in the more noise you get on the photo. The editing options on the camera itself effect the image size, she its better to edit them on the computer to keep the size.
There is also a BIG problem with bleaching when you take the photo - even in the AUTO modes it doesnt automatically darken the areas like Im use to on my older camera, so you get blanked out (bleached) areas of the photo (with no details). It seems to effect the background/distance areas in the photos rather than the foreground.

Apart from the zoom and bleaching the camera takes brilliant photos and I would only recommend it to first time buyers or people who dont want to take their photography seriously.
