Advantages: So many features and ease of use.
Disadvantages: None so far.
This is my first digital camera, I had been looking out for an easy to use but feature packed digital camera for a while now and eventually came across this in the Next Directory in an array of colours, I bought the pink one as it is my favourite colour.
Included with the camera was a rechargeable battery and charger (which is much easier than having to use normal batteries), instruction manual and also a CD rom with the instructions and a software CD and USB leads to connect to your computer.
The battery only takes a few hours to charge which is great. Once the battery is in place the camera was so easy to switch on and set up, just sliding the cover on the front of the camera switches the power on. You are then asked to enter the time, date and a few basic settings which are very easy to understand and if not are fully explained in the manual then you are ready to go.
Using the camera is so easy and that's what I like most about it. It has several features that you would normally find on a camera twice the price of this one; red eye reduction, anti-shaking feature which reduces blur and another feature that takes two pictures at the same time, one with the flash on and one without then you can decide which is the best (this is the best feature as I'm never sure when I should be using the flash or not).
Loading the software and transferring pictures to your computer is straightforward. Printing is easy as well as the camera takes SD and XD cards which just slot straight into a lot of newer printers allowing you to print off photos within minutes.
Summary: A feature packed camera that's very reasonably priced.
