This is the first Digital Camera that I bought; I got it in New Zealand 2 years ago in a bundle deal (camera + 256MB xD card + camera case) for about 100 quid - the same shop were selling the camera only for a few quid more. Anyway, I find this camera is nice and easy to use, considering I quite like photography, but I m more a tourist snapper than a really into it snapper. The screen is big and clear enough for my needs, there s a wealth of options on the menus (I use fine picture quality), and I ve managed to take some really good shots with it, including a zoomed in one of a butterfly resting on flowers with only the optical zoom. I find getting my pictures from the ...

For the price of this camera, it is well worth the value! I purchased this Digital Camera on ebay about two years ago, and I have been happy with it ever since. This camera is mainly for beginner to amateur users of digital cameras, as it lacks a lot of features you would want in an expensive professional camera. But, really, how many everyday picutre takers are professionals? The 4.1 megapixels really delivers a high quality picture. I have used this camera to print out pictures at machine kiosks at stores, and they come out spotless and very sharp. My favorite part about this camera is that it is small and light weight. I could carry it in my pocket without having ...

Rating:
The Fujifilm Finepix A400 is a very good camera for those of you who don t really have much experience with cameras. It is not complex to understand or use, although there are many features that more sophisticated and expensive digital cameras that this one doesn t have, so if you are looking to upgrade your digital camera to something that can do a bit more, this is perhaps not for you. The controls are generally quite easy to use, power switch on the top and slightly sunken, making it tricky to push. This is good, as it makes it very hard to accidentally turn it on or off. It has a zoom lens which can give you 3x optical zoom, allowing close in pictures that don t ...
