Advantages: Lightweight, Easy to use and reliable

Disadvantages: The wheel to change settings sometimes does not align correctly but this is "operator error"

Superb camera for the price.
I have owned this model for since the summer of 2000. I invested in two extra 32Mb Smartcards and this was the only camera that I took on holiday to Portugal.
I had superb results with all my shots including those taken at night over a distance.
It helps to have a good graphics programme with which to edit clean up the images.
It is very slow downloading from the camera on to the PC but I bought a FlashPath Smartdisk which makes life a lot easier.
I understand that a USB Smartreader is quicker.
I also use this camera for work to take photos for ID badges and get brilliant results.
Havinf owned two previous Digital Cameras I am delighted with my MX 2700 and have do not foresee changing it for some while yet.
