HP Photosmart M627 ... Months in and this little camera is still going strong, despite some rather rough treatment from a ragamuffin 3 year old. This was, thankfully a device that worked fine straight out of the box. I came with the usual collection of USB cables, battery charger and 2 batteries. No SD card though :-) And you ll need one - it ll only hold about 10 full-resolution pics on the internal memory. The software was in there too on CD. Software The camera cam with an array of the usual pic download and editing software. It s OK but I ll never use it. I have psychological problems at being steered towards a way of working by outside agencies. Big brother and all that. So it has been ... HP Photosmart R967 ... was bought this for Christmas. I find it extremely easy to use and it takes brilliant photos. I use the automatic settings all the time as they are equally as good as setting everything manually - even on Macro. It is light and compact and fits into all of my handbags! The viewer on the back is larger than most other digital cameras so it is easy to see what you are taking photos of. All in all a very good camera for both beginner and practised photographer.... HP Photosmart R607 ... i ve owned this camera for some time now. Must be at least 18 months, and its still functioning exactly as it did the first day i got it. The battery is a Lithium ion pack unique to the camera, more like a mobile battery than the usual double A s and its well worth having. the life is excellent. and i often find myself trying to run the battery down in order to give it a full charge! features wise it will take some nice pictures in auto mode, and has other settings for action, landscape, beach and snow, sunset, portrait and panorama modes.
