==Hitachi HDC- 57 OAP==

I have had this camera for a good while now as it was a Christmas present from himself a couple of years ago. It was nice to get it although we didn't really need a new digital camera at the time but it was nice to think that, because of its colour, it was solely purchased for me and not to be used by him!

I know that its not a particularly expensive camera as I have seen it in Argos for a mere £30 odd and I was glad that himself hadn't spent too much because if I did loose it it wouldn't matter so much. I was mainly going to use it for girls nights out so there was more chance than usual of me misplacing it.

The camera is nothing overly special or great specification but its not bad and it does all I need it to do as I am not after any pictures that are super sharp.

It has all I need it to in the LCD display and the flash function. It only has a 5 mega pixel spec but this does seem to still produce some pretty good shots. The plastic make up of the camera means that it is quite versatile and again perfect for taking out when having a dew drinks and not have to worry too much.

I use a pretty good memory card in this camera so that I am able to take a lot of shots and you do need a SD card for this camera. The USB cable for the camera can just be plugged in the computer and off you go so there is no messing around with programmes and the like.

The pictures that come out are as expected, not the greatest but they are of fair quality even when taking the shots at night. You do get what you pay for with items such as this so for the price it is actually not too bad and on the whole I am really rather pleased with it.

I found it easy to use in general and the options for use and all pretty basic which makes the camera very easy to use and once you have used it a few times it takes no thought at all to be able to use the few functions that the camera does have.

Overall I have to say that paying £30 for a camera you will only expect to get a camera that does it job and is easy to use and that is exactly what you get here when purchasing this one. I think the bonuses of it being hard wearing, light weight and simple to use are all really what I need from a camera whilst still getting a fairly decent picture. I can't complain and I feel that I am happy to give it a 4 out of 5 score and a recommendation. It is certainly not the best camera out there but it is good for the price.

I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you

many thanks for taking the time to read.
