I have this camera so if you're looking for high quality pictures then look no further this camera has it all the camera's 3x optical zoom lens is equivalent to a 34-95mm lens on a 35mm format camera there is also a 6x digital zoom but for every click on the digital zoom it knock's of 0.2-0.3 MP of quality also it has 3 modes of colour full colour sepia or black and white but it does not stop there the HP Photosmart M407 has 4 image quality settings available (4MP Best, 4MP, 2MP and VGA), which are recorded as JPEGs.
