8 Months in and this little camera is still going strong, despite some rather rough treatment from a ragamuffin 3 year old. This was, thankfully a device that worked fine straight out of the box. I came with the usual collection of USB cables, battery charger and 2 batteries. No SD card though :-) And you'll need one - it'll only hold about 10 full-resolution pics on the internal memory. The software was in there too on CD. Software The camera cam with an array of the usual pic download and editing software. It's OK but I'll never use it. Well i've owned this camera for some time now. Must be at least 18 months, and its still functioning exactly as it did the first day i got it. The battery is a Lithium ion pack unique to the camera, more like a mobile battery than the usual double A's and its well worth having. the life is excellent. and i often find myself trying to run the battery down in order to give it a full charge! features wise it will take some nice pictures in auto mode, and has other settings for action, landscape, beach and snow, sunset, portrait and panorama modes.
