It has a green square that says you are ok to take the photo, this appears in your view finder, if this square is red then you are out of focus.

I bought this camera from Comet a few months ago for £199.00, for that I got the hp photosmart R707digital camera with hp instant share. hp photosmart R07 rechargeable lithium ion battery, hp photosmart 3.3v AC adapter, USB cable for connecting camera to PC. USB cable for connecting camera to printer, user manualm user's manual on CD, CD with hp image zone software for Microsoft Windows and Macintosh, hp memories disc creator, and ArcSoft Panorama Maker 3.5. and a wrist strap. HP supplies the Photosmart in two forms. As a bare camera it retails for about £175, or you can buy it with the docking station for £205.
