When I first acquired this camera digital photography hadn't taken off anywhere near as much as it has by now and I had no intentions of investing in a digital camera. The Kodak CX4300 is my first ever digital camera. I bought it purely because at £150 it was the only affordable 3+MP camera I'd be able to afford (and it was ex-display so I got a little extra knocked off). It is just a basic machine, but good for a beginner. There was no S/N sticker on mine (which should have been on the base, near the tripod mount), so I had to ring Kodak who supplied me with a pseudo-serial number, and they registered it for me. I bought it from PC World with £249. The price as I noticed it was the same at Dixons and £9 cheaper from Carrys.(Now the camera is on offer now at Dixons with £149.99! sob...) The whole package includes: The camera, 2 AA Kodak batteries, software for computer, usb cord to plug into your camera and computer for easy transfer of pictures, a cord to plug into your tv so you can review pictures on it (very cool and handy for relatives that don't have PC) and of course, manuals and warranty information.
