Advantages: Great photos, easy-to-use

Disadvantages: Not as pocketable as newer cameras

I've been using this camera for just over 18 months now, and am very pleased with my purchase, although I do look enviously at some of the smaller cameras that are appearing now.

That having been said, size apart, (and it's not actually that big), it's a great camera. Picture quality is better than many of the smaller cameras, and in just about all lighting situations, it takes great shots.
The camera comes with an OK case, and an 8MB Compact Flash. The picture quality can be set to one of six modes, and you can mix-and-match on the same CF. I tend to run in "Better", "High" which lets me fit around 40 snaps onto my CF card. At the lowest quality, 120 pictures are possible. I have a 32 Meg card, which I use in my Psion Series 5mx, which gives me several hundred snaps, should I need them.

With a 2x optical zoom, and the ability to zoom in to get a closer look on screen, getting a good shot is easy, and managing images on the camera is straightforward. Comfy in the hand, all the features I need, and reliable, I view this as an excellent purchase. If I had to pick a downside, there's around a five second "recharge" time before you can take a consecutive image, so for fast image capture of an action event, it's not as useful as it could be... it also eats batteries when using the display, but then they all do.

Nice features include the graphical "Preferences" screen, time and datestamp, and the About screen (which is telling me that I've taken 1896 photos and used the flash 1629 times!

Highly recommended for reliability, features and usability.

For £320 quid I'd want it to wash the car as well :-)
